⏪ January Retrospective: Setting the Stage

January was all about building the "Responsible AI" foundation.

We began vetting resources for the upcoming National AI Literacy Day, ensuring they are accessible for all of us.

The GenAIx Partnership

We officially joined forces with GenAIx to bring high-level AI curriculum directly to our local Brunswick community.

Event: Birds, Bytes, & Beaches | Date: February 13-16, 2026

The Focus: The global "Build with AI" season is here! We are launching a hands-on series focused on using Gemini and Google Cloud to solve environmental challenges.

Join our asynchronous "Build with AI" kickoff! Help bridge biodiversity data gaps by identifying coastal birds with the Merlin Bird ID app and transforming your sightings into "Bird Story Cards" using Gemini in AI Studio. This family-friendly event coincides with the Great Backyard Bird Count—simply spend 15 minutes outdoors, build with our AI template, and earn your participant badge!

GenAIx x GDG Brunswick

We are bringing the Responsible AI Starter Kit to the Golden Isles! This collaboration ensures AI remains a tool for social good, local activism, and inclusive learning.
